My personal background and my passion for societal issues, made me interested in the workings of the European Union and its member states at a young age. It was therefore not a surprise that I frequented events about European and Global federalism as early as 2014.
When in 2016 nationalism swept across Europe, the Brexit referendum happened and Donald Trump was elected, I decided that I could no longer just look at what was happening. I therefore signed up as a member to a number of pro-European organisation and started volunteering.
60 Years Treaty of Rome
I have since volunteered for numerous pro-European movements such as Pulse for Europe, Stand Up for Europe, Young European Federalists & Alliance for Europe. A noticeable moment was the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome in 2017, where I gave a speech to over a thousand Europeans.
